2 Factor Authentication (2FA) can be setup for our webmail only. We currently do not offer 2FA for e-mail clients or software running on your private computer, phone or tablet.
To setup the 2 factor authentication on our webmail go to https://mail.soverin.net
When logged into the webmail go to the settings, which can be found in the top right corner
Click on the button "Setup all fields (needs save)" to create an automatic 2FA key
A pop-up screen will inform that the QR-code generated should be scanned, click on "Close" to go back to the settings screen.
Above you see and example of the codes generated, with a QR-code. This code should be scanned with an App on your phone, like Authy, 1Password or other TOTP compatible apps.
After you scanned the QR-code, your app will provide you with an code. This code should be filled in the "Check code" field, then click on the button "Check code"
A new pop-up will inform you that the code is correct. From this moment on 2FA is active and you will need to enter an authentication code when logging into the webmail.
